Ms. Shih-Ya (Tanya) Huang specializes in corporate law, technology transactions, and business litigation. In her litigation practice, Ms. Huang handles complex civil lawsuits and arbitration for corporations based in the United States, Taiwan, and across Asia. These cases span a wide range of issues, including breach of contract, intellectual property disputes, data privacy, and personal injuries.

In her corporate practice, Ms. Huang focuses on mergers and acquisitions, data privacy compliance, and startup advisory services. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts, including vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and licensing deals. She also provides regulatory guidance on data privacy and technology-related issues, helping her clients navigate complex legal landscapes.

Ms. Huang began her legal career with a strong focus on corporate litigation and intellectual property at Baker McKenzie’s Taipei office, where she managed high-stakes cases involving trademark violations, and complex business disputes. She has defended multinational corporations in commercial lawsuits and administrative appeals, including prevention of product recalls.

A native of Taiwan, Ms. Huang earned her LL.B. and LL.M. from National Taiwan University, followed by an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley with certification in Law and Technology. She is admitted to the bar in California, Washington, and Taiwan, and is proficient in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English.

In her free time, Ms. Huang enjoys scuba diving and exploring the hidden beauty beneath the sea.
